And anyway. Just go to your local post office and cash it for hard cash. He cant scam you out of cash thats in your hand

Canadians can send GBP money orders. You get the order, you cash it over the counter at the Post Office; it's easy for you and totally safe for you. Once the cash is in you hand, it's in your hand.
Needless to say, you wait until you get the cash before you send anything.
