Just use the FREE update service on the SonyEricsson website, is very reliable. That should help you...
(Did you even read the manual? This is mentioned there) he he he. Well I didn't read it either thoroughfully at first, and then I discovered that you can skip tracks on the media player by pressing the joystick to the sides as opposed to up/down as in the K700. Also, if you hold the joystick you can move within the track. Cool, huh?
In regards the DaVinci people i posted this earlier and I'm copying/pasting it:
I used the davinci software to flash my phone. Originally it had the chinese T9/menus, as well as English and some other asian languages.
After I used the "america2" flash file I got the Spanish (XL) t9/menus as well as the portuguese, (PB) the chinese for some weird reason wasn't deleted.
And I still have the english (AE) menus, but NOT the t9 in English!!!
So be careful if you use this service make sure you select the appropiate languages pack and also, you have to pay 10 euros IN ADVANCE to use it; if you don't, the software will still flash your phone but in the 'finalization' phase when it tries to check your password (given to you by davinci AFTER you pay) if you don't have a valid name/password it will give you an error message on the pc and your cell phone WON'T turn on!!!!!! Beware of this!!!

First update the firmware via SEUS.If it doesnot resolve the problem then do what i do.Just engage the phone in a work by setting an alarm.You may set it at any time .But after it rings done forget to set another alrm otherwise it will FREEZE.
