This problem 's so simply that the windows XP sp2 have more restriction on the security ,and bring some inconvenience to use.
This problem also belong to it ,just unload the sp2 ,everything 's ok!

Hi everyone!Here's the problem.I had the exact same problem.I called SE in Greece and they told me to disable my Norton and Zone alarm and the firewall on SP2.Idid and Istill couldn't get my phone icon on the system tray.The connectivity line was working but no icon!After downloadind the latest Pc suite and upgrading my phone nothing worked again!So I called them after the the 15th time(they knew me by then!) someone told me if I had turned off my phone after installing and upgrading and I answered no!I even formatted my Pc!After doing that Everything worked!WEven now my phone is on my syncstation with norton and zonealarm and SP2 firewall ENABLED!!!!
