If roumers are correct and SE release there new p series this year, I would take the 8800 and keep that for the time being, because the 88 handsets never fail to keep there value.
I would sell both your other handsets (s700 and p910) as although I love my P910, the prices are continously dropping due to the S700 being out done by the new k and w series of phones, and the p910 dropping because of SE falling a little behind in the smartphone market.

THEN... as soon as the new p-series is out, flog your 8800 and get the money from the sale of your S700 and P910 and you could proably afford a contract free P1000.

I wish i had a P910i... Over here they're a ridiculous sum, but i'm hopefully getting 1 by year-end. From what i've seen of it, it's got everything i need. Stick with it, bro This message was posted from a Nokia

Can any I-paq users confirm for me that the Windows Mobile platform is totally bug free and stable? This seems to be the issue with the XDA.

Also.. its only a 65K colour screen too. The first thing I noticed with the 910 vs 900 was the vastly improved sreen res...

@frontman

Given it's Windows, its never gonna be bug free! I've had my 4700 just over a week now (along with the k750i), it did crash a bit, but the ROM upgrade from HP seems to have cleared all that, not had one since the upgrade, (sounds similar to my k750i firmware this )

It's a great little machine, and seems to cope with anything I throw at it at the moment!

I was in the same shoe with you just couple week ago.

My P800 is broken and I had a new treo 650 as replacement and think if i should keep or sell it for a P910.

I finally decide to keep the treo cuz:

1. I want to try out other smartphones other then P-series.

2. memory card is cheaper with treo and the fact that you have a 1G SD around, you are set.

3. Screen is very nice.

4. keybroaded = I dont have to learn another writing method (I liked P800's writing)

5.quad-banded (I live in the US so i can use GSM 850)

6. games are awesome with a real keybroad

7. more softwares with palm. Window Media Player = standrad, and adobe reader too.

Now the bads:

1. headset is crap (one piece, have to buy another set for MP3)

2. no access to the file structure on the treo 650

3. it's less phone based. I am still trying to put a "pause" in my some of phone numbers (to enter pre-set pin after dailing a number)

4. Phone book is simply black and white. Well, It has both good and bad on this one.
