What a stupid thread.

+1

Scratches are not covered under standard insurance policies! Just cough up for a replacement fascia, they are cheap enough!

The phone was accidently damaged.....NOT by ME, but by some passer-by who hit my hand accidently as he walked by and da phone fell out my hand and on to the floor and it got scratched. So hence, that is accidental damage!! So it should b covered! To get a new face put on my fone, im also going to tell em that the certain parts of the phone squeeks (which it does).....so they gna have to fix it

Whilst im at it, im also gona tel em to giv me a new battery, cz tha battery dies in about 2days, even though iv charged it for 4hours.

Anyway, im goin to carephone warehouse repair centre 2mrw, and will post up wot they said!

What's the problem sapporobaby? He states that he has insurance cover for accidental damage, so why shouldn't the scratches fall under this category and thus be a legitimate claim?

I doubt they'd replace it. Not unless there was something technically wrong with the phone. If you really are despearate for them to change it you could always trash it a bit more.

I think it's about time someone close this thread. It's turning out to be discussing illegal matters - I don't think that's what Esato is about!

It started up with dropping, then moved to a technical repair. Then you add, and I quote: If you're worried that they won't replace it because the "scratches are minor" then just add some scratches that AREN'T so minor .

So you are now encouraging him to do something illegal. Esato, if you have not noticed is seeing less and less of the "old guard" that have tons of info because of people who advocate things such as your self. Esato is one of the last few good sites where people can get info, (if they use the search feature sometimes), that they can not get from SE or other places.

Second, why does the poster write in this juvenile writing style? Is he eleven. I could see it if he was saving space with text messages but these are full character threads so the childish posting style detracts from his credibility as well.
