Well maybe in theory but i don't believe anyone actually practices that do they?...To my knowledge in bollywood movies i have only seen strangers do the Rakhi on strangers. ie: non-family.

Bollywood is as fake as fake gets i suppose...So your saying Rakhi is more of a family tradition?...But anyone can participate if they so wanted...I would rather hide to be quite frank unless it was my own blood sisters and cousins.
