Easy mobile - just checked it out and it seems as though you have to top up over the net - can't actually do it from your phone and if you do there is a service charge - not nice.

O2 - doesn't look too bad at all, though I'm always a bit curious about their network - have heard of people getting network problems etc, charges to customer services etc

Well, I'm on O2 (Contract however, used to be on PAYG but wanted a free phone!) and I've never had any network problems in 8 years.

I've not had any problems with Customer Services either, just a couple of minor things that were sorted out quickly...

I'm gonna switch my wife onto the O2 online £10 per month tariff when her current BTMobile contract ends. There's really nothing to beat it currently.

You could get 80 anytime/anyone minutes plus 20 texts for £10 top-up per month. 25% more than you currently use for 33% less money!!

right, thanks for that - put my fears to rest. It seems to be the offer of the moment as you say. I just checked the Orange website aswell and it looks as though you can only get their offer when you buy the £50 top up - no less!! Totally hopeless for me due to the outlay all at once.
