Ok a question asked bbefore, but the reason why i purchased a t68 is due to the fact that Ericssom have formed alliance with SONY i was woundering if anyone had bought there t68 for the same reason.

I bought T68 'coz I wanted to get rid of my Samsung-A-200, and this was the only good device in the market along with Nokia 8310.

I finally decided that I will take T68 coz 8310 is too common here in Dubai. But eventually, I figured out that buying T68 was indeed a very good decision, coz I can have lots on question about it answered on the net on forums like this and have its firmware upgraded at the service centre for free

I'm looking forward to the phone whose pics are being posted everywhere, which is made by and which has a color screen similar to Nok7650. Does anyone know the model number or any specs of this new phone?

EWAP : the silvermetallic is a prototype, and who knows,..it might go into production And I do believe that the colorscreen has 65.000+ colors, at least, that what I've read. Dont know if its true ?

I saw the T-68 at Cebit the first time too.
Loved it from the beginning.

It has the things I look for in a phone :
Features-high tech.
Design-stylish and the right "feel".
Size-weight.
Usability

At that time I had a Nokia 6210, and I wanted a new one.

Actually got the T-39 in july 2001. I knew that when the T-68 came, I would exchange my T-39.
So as soon as the T-68 hit Denmark, I got it.

And we lived happily ever after,..hehe

i sell mobiles at the link (UK) and i got the 8310 when it came out here. went through a couple of phones (had really shit software that crash every 5 mins, and really annoying not being able to listen to radio indoors). as soon as t68 came out (about 6 weeks later) there was no comparison so swapped them over. fell in love with the t68 straight away and will never touch nokia again!

I've been waiting for my Ericsson T68 now for 3 months, I went into my local phone shop to buy the T68 but they had none in stock, so they offered me the 8310 and if i didn't like it i could bring it back and change it for the T68. Well the 8310 is one of the worst phones i have ever used!! Dodgy software, awful build quality, and its practically identical to all other nokias!! so i now have one reserved to when they're back in stock (any day now) i can finally get my hands on it!!

I wasn't really looking to replace my trusty N 6210, as the obvious choice, the N 6310 offers little improvement for my purposes, but I saw the T68 at a SonyEricsson press presentation, and instantly fell in love with it for all the reasons listed above such as impressive number of features in a tiny package, smart design, and last, but not least, ///'s track record of technical excellence. Unfortunately, many of their previous models fell short of Nokias in terms of design and usability. The T39 didn't appeal to me because of the external antenna, diminutive display and flip. But to have all of the T39's features - and more - in a 85 g package with a stated battery life superior to the N6210, was more than enough to convince me. I should get it any day now

I went to the shop to take a look at it, just to know what people were talking about...
...and came home with one!
