you DO know you wont lose anything with a restore right?
Anything you saved will still be on your system.
If you've installed a program the installer will still be there but it will be uninstalled.
thats it.

just wonderign, are the icons locked? then set to grid? if so it may be why... right click and select arange icons by, then selecvt the options, its simple but it may be thecase

Oh yeah i know i won't loose anything, i just read that a restore will not solve my problem as the desktop will stay the same so a restore seems pointless as its my desktop i am trying to get back to normal.
I will sit tight for the legendary cycovision, if anyone can help it is him.
@lukebonathan that doesnt work either, i just want it to go back to normal with the icons on the left (unhighlighted) recycle bin in bottom right hand corner and my nice csi background lol.
