i think there are some cars that use the whole car body as the antenna. you can't see any retractable antenna on them.

SE can also make outer body of k750 act as antenna. atleast it can pick up 50% signal. it may be very helpful in emergencies.

The car body is not an antenna. The antenna wire is built into the rear window as mentioned before. Above the de-mister.

Phone signals are 900-1900 Megahertz, FM 88-108 Megahertz. The higher the frequency the shorter the aerial can be if you use frequency modulation (generally speaking). Also phone signals are modulated in a more advanced way and can therefore us a very small antenna.

After a car wash accident I drove around with a very short antenna for a while and reception was not good

in an emergency!? as in like contacting someone if youre stranded? How do you do that? ive seen people using radios to contact people... arent radios just for listening to music?

well all cars do, but some are just 2mm tall stub aerial. Like the one of my dad's SL500 and A-Class AMG. The car's chassis is earthed and is not a good method for picking up FM, Especially AM.
