I've got several 3.5mm socket to 2.5mm jack adaptors from my P series and JAM days but can't find anything so that I can plug this Pokia into my 3.5mm sockets!

there are plenty of adaptors that do what we already have but it seems impossible to find one that does what I need now, though I will give the shop suggested earlier a lookin

thanks for the help, I know it can be a little confusing with all these adaptors and I'm surprised that the Pokia comes with a 2.5mm plug and that they have loads of adaptors but none that convert it to a standard 3.5mm socket

@tempsonyfreak, thanks again. the top one would be the correct one if it mentioned it had support for the mic.

as mentioned in the opening post, I have already bought three such adaptors which do adapt correctly but which only support the headset (i.e. the hearing) and not the mic (i.e. the talking)

I'm beginning to wonder if such a beast actually exists

I know here in Tokyo in electric avenue (Akihabhara) you can have them splice together any cable you want and basically they should be able to have it all fired up in a few minutes...

Il try and have a look for you if I go down there tomorrow its just that I came back from there today and just saw your post now. If you can give me a bit more detail about the mic part of things and if you could attach a few photos (makes it easier on the japanese side of things)

juz out of curiosity, why wld u be needing such an adaptor? unless u're intending to use it on your pc perhaps? i've seen plenty of wad your looking for, but none tt supports mic input. only way is to get it done as themarques suggested i guess. This message was posted from a WAP device

oops, pardon me, i just re-read your post. so you need it for your k750 for which you've already got an adaptor tt allows u to use 3.5mm jacks huh? hmm.. it'll b pretty messy with so many adaptors. perhaps if themarques is right about the shop, you should get a k750 adaptor spliced with a 2.5mm socket instead. =) This message was posted from a WAP device

masseur: have you found a solution yet? it's been a while, but thought i'd reply anyhow - while i was looking for a solution for exactly the same problem i came across an official adapter from the hulger (pokia) site: http://shop.hulger.com/products.php?dept=1008
the last adapter is a se k750 adapter for pokia phones, it's 7.50€ including shipping costs.
