Well, that explains the large ROM. I suppose the OS execution would also be faster (including startup and restart) in a way even if the processor is the same. They probably should improve the battery for all these developments.

I always install all my programs/games etc. on a memory card. I see no usefulness in having a large rom that is even slower than ram.

msmobiles have an article today informing us that the atom has now received FCC approval in USA

looks nice, and smaller than the Jam, but it seems destined for only O2 from what I read in various sites

looks cool in real pics.. should be good.. but that shiny black cover must attract heaps of fingerprints..

also really like the smaller size compared to the xda mini!

why is everyone saying lately that anything not SE is big?

this one is smaller than the i-mate JAM and K-JAM and compares sizewise not badly with, say the K750 but has a heaps bigger screen and far more capability for browsing, wifi, edge, stereo speakers, fairly standard 2.5mm headset jack, word and excel support, great outlook contacts, notes, email etc synchronisation etc etc

Atom 102 x 58 x 18.5
K750 100 x 46 x 20.5

if I didn't already have the k-jam I would go for this little beauty!

as far as I know (from reaing heaps about it) this is only being made for O2, so O2 UK will most surely get this in the new year
