Thats right. If the new ARM processors are lapped up by device man'fa'turerz fast, the 600 Mhz plus capability can easily support good AV applications !

That's a pity. There are some great streaming radio apps for S60. Virtual Radio's one of my favourites, currently over 40 stations to choose from.

Given that free WiFi in the UK is rare not having Skype on a Smartphone is no big issue. Not having much memory and having poor battery life is an issue - yes I am referring to WM5 devices! I hope to have a O2 XDA Exec soon but I really worry about poor phone funcitonality, low memory and short battery life when compared to much cheaper Symbian Smartphones (and even the Treo 650).

Well there is a application for the popular S60 SYMBIAN.It is a Skype terminal (sorry Etaab) but because no s60 phone has wifi yet (will shortly change with the release of N91) it connects to the pc/internet thru bluetooth :-) I have personaly checked the application and it does work on any s60 cellphone ! Greetings from South Africa.Mario.

My sentiments more or less. So much for Skype on mobiles. We may revisit the issue in another year or two. Maybe there'll be really something to talk about.
