So basically its got mixed response.
The time lag between announcement and launch wouldn't help much either.

i asked him rumours are goin on...there are going to be 2 smartphones coming out as p990i iz out iz p1000 or another smartphone gonna be out he views were clearly..NO...he said...der r no news and m sure ders no another smartphone by SE going to come out rite now...
as per 3G network in india airtel and orange are going to come out within 6 months
they right now concentrating on walkman phones der were around more than 4 sections for walkman phones and all the sections had same phones w550i/w900i/w800i .
i think it wont work so great cause people are there to use ipods and other great mp3 players...why somebody will buy a walkman phone which has no other features...u cannot connection to speakers or.. cannot..use in the car....
yes its a good device for the people who cannot buy ipods or mp3 players can get a walkman phone but then the price iz also the same infact higher than mp3 players..makes no sense i guess

Hey xtemujin...tnx man & welcome 2 esato.
Do post the price of the P990 in Ur country when its anounced. Its much cheaper there compared 2 India cause of our high import duties. I will be getting it from either the middle east or the south east Asia when it comes out. I ll be saving about $100 by doing so as I ve resources 2 get it from there.
