That makes it easy to turn BT on only. Turning it off requires you go through the Control Panel thingie.

So I guess the answer to all my original questions is: NO CAN DO!
I really like the P910 so far but little niggly things like this are annoying, especially when they add up. Actually, the inability to completely delete emails on the P910 without having them either removed from the server nor re-downloaded upon next connection is a serious drawback. I'm going to have to look into a 3rd party email program just for this reason.
