It will take up to ten days post in service and a few hours depending how busy they are on walk in with booking...
and called them before to find out more details.... Dont tell them its bought here.... Say it was a gift and you havent proof of purchase...

@max sorry to hear that, unfortunately with /// the desktop system disappeared aswell... a short example. in tyrol ( austria ) se has no service point anymore, all fones will be sent to vienna to repair... se and support... two different phrases imo

have a k700 on orange it developed a fault (other people on a call could not hear me and the phone kept locking up) anyway orange sent it away, i kept the battery, came back few days later a letter with the phone explaining what was wrong and that they had done a firmware upgrade phone worked fine now however it would drain the battery in less than a day previously to the upgrade it would last about 3 days phoned orange they said the phone was drawing to much power from the battery so it was sent away all this as happened over a period of 2 weeks the phone as now been returned to me with a note saying the phone has had water damage and they are not prepaired to repair it now i know that i havent got it wet so whats going on with sonyericsson
