There's a much simpler explanation: The P910i is slower than the P900. It's one of the first things I noticed when I "upgraded". Turn on a P900 and a P910 side by side, and the P900 will boot up quicker; press "Control Panel" on both phones at the same time, and the P900 will get there an awful lot quicker. The P910 is just slower; I can't work out why either, since they're basically the same phone.

Huh buddies,sorry for upsetting some of you by only mentioning a fact.Go to the nearest cell shop and check, no need to kill the messenger.And yes the P900 was/seemed slightly faster then P910. Also the 6630 was marginally faster then the later model 6680.I like pitting the cells against each other.By holding each cell and browse,open and close app.,etc. gives me a good feeling of what I have to expect after a purchase.Greetings from South Africa . hi guys im having the very same problem and its busting my chops!!
Mines an Orange phone de-branded and I use it on O2.Will this stop me from updating the software from SE update service....I know I never managed to update my P900 in 2 YEARS!!! To be honest Im disappointed with the speed of the P910.
