Mine is K750i R1AA008 APAC_1
It doesn't lose the desktop highlight(black box we deal with),but...go to File manager-themes-Eternal theme(K750 preinstalled default theme)-Set-scroll up to Sony Ericsson-Info-OK-scroll down-POOF! The highlight is GONE! It should be there and animated too-but the buggy K750 is no longer able to show the animation nor the image itself. I'm sure ALL K750i experience it!

i have experienced this one too... it was after an update to the latest firmware (R1AA008), the first thing to try is to master rest the phone.. NOT ALL just an ordinary reset thing... if that dont work...
then try deleting all your currently installed themes... then try re-copying them..
let me know what happened...
cheers!

not a prob stevemiddie.. as long as youre well contented with R1N, and you use a card reader to transfer files to and from PC...
as what other say... if it aint broke... dont fix it..

Deleting troublesome themes? I have deleted Wave,Tile,Beam and reinstalled them back. The silly bug remains there. I can't delete Eternal because it's locked. Tried to install Eternal again,yet-it remains corrupted. Master reset? No way,mate. I don't want to face data losing as my previous K700 did. Mine is APAC_1-No hissing,no screen glitch,just inconsistent battery status.

I expect a smart phone to crash, loose data, blank screen etc. when installing incompatible/faulty system programs. Huh . . . Am I not glad for sticking to 'right one'. Greetings from South Africa. Mario.
