no, not this release, but ipod had a big head start in the hdd player market. And kudos to them, but they have rested on their laurels too long.
With the proliferation of such devices from iriver, sony, creative etc I doubt ipod will be able to maintain 80% marketshare. Infact I'd be surprised if that figure is accurate, even though it may have been true a year or so ago.
