yeh i did think that you've only had the handset a week you prob wouldnt have a lot of stuff on there to delete lol. Regarding the problems you're having with the duo transferring crap that goes on with this FW (yes ive had the same problems but sorted now) Have you seen
THIS thread. It could help you out regarding that issue, it worked for me on R1N035
Something about you losing the message tones etc does sound a bit weird tbh, I reckon it'd be definately worth taking it back from where you got it from, it's still under 14 days return policy anyway, plus you can still say that the phone isn't working properly and that you want to exchange it for a new one. I would say thats the easiest thing for you to do mate.
