> Mem stick wiped

this morning my alarm went off on my phone, but it wasnt my alarm tone, it was "greeting". I went through the settings to check wether someone had changed it but it was there ok, so i went to select it again when in the tones list, there wasnt anything there, only the default SE ones. I quickly went to videos and none was there only the demo tour. I thought my mem card had been wiped as i have read up.
I then took the memory card out and turned my phone off, put the card back in and turned phone back on and to my relief, everything was back on there.
Anyone know why this happened? I use a Sandisk 512Mb card.

ive had the same problem, except that i cant turn on my phone with the memory card in, i just get to the SE logo and stop, soon as i pop it out, the phone will start. also my computer won't recognise it so i cant even format it that way, so what do i do?

Yep mine did the same, would not turn on until you took the memory card out. If it is only a few weeks old, I have an address SE gave me to send the card to, and they shouls test it, and send you a new one.
