it vexes me how SE hasn't done anything to remedy this issue, after every new generation of phone produced. esato veterans here had any experience with getting to SE on this issue, or if there has been some kind petition to SE to fix the connector problems?

Well, I've been around here for quite some time and I don't recall seeing any petition for the connector...
Not many have complained because I guess we just buy new hands-free or chargers to replace the loose ones and also I think most users have just learnt to live with it.... It
is annoying though... I wish they'd make a better connector.

I personally havent ever experienced any problems with Sony Ericsson connectors and I have used about 15 chargers and about 40 different phones. The only problems that I have ever had with phone connectors is when I had a Nokia 6210, but that was only because the connector on the phone kept getting dirty.

It is close to a month since I got my K750, so far I did not come across any major problems, however lately I noticed that the hands free plug is not as firm as it used to be, although the contacts are still fine it comes out with little force (unlike before). This is only after using it for a month, wonder what would happen in couple of months...

i haven't had any problems with the connecters. dating back from the early ericsson phones, to their last line, SE's old and new line.
they all work fine for me, and i have tones of acc.
i gues you gues should be more carrefull and when you unplug do its slowly.
i do admit i once had a SE charger that didn't fit any phone. i think it was made by that company from moroco.
but thats only 1 in 30 chagers i have had/used.

And btw.... SE connectors are so BIG and BULKY = ulgy.
Specially when using the earpeice... you have a NICE looking phone. Then all of a sudden you see this huge cancer connector attached to it. Just destroys the look.
SE's connectors are not function over fashion, NOR fashion over function. It's neither!
