oh come on, anyone signing a contract knows to read the small print and moreso, surely anyone buying on ebay knows they need to read every word in order to avoid being taken for a ride.

you have to be really naive not to suss that hot items are likely to have scams running on ebay

Yes masseur fair enough but that should'nt be the case...when sellers on ebay purposely try and make their items misleading then their lies the problem.

I fully agree, but without me moderating ebay ( ) its a fact that such people try what they can

I'm sure the expression "Caveat emptor" has not been around since Roman times for no reason...

I think ebay need to and should change their policy on such ads and ban misleading ads completely,if that were part of ebay policy this kind of crime would'nt exsist...ebay themselves are part of many of the problems many ebayer's encounters such as this...I cant help but think sometimes ebay are a bit of a cowboy outfit, even though its one of the fastest global companies..in a nutshell as we eastenders would say "SORT IT OUT"

I agree with a few of the points youve put fowards, think its the buyers faulty, as you should read things fully as you get alot of people like this. But I do hate ebayers wholist crap like this

its harsh as hell but the fact remains - it did say in the description...... why that person thought it would be a good idea to spend a decent amount of money without reading the entire listing is beyond me... if the 'contract' was 100 pages long i can see why they'd miss something but as the law is today teh seller didnt really do anything wrong....

it is harsh tho and i personally couldnt do it to anyone...

If someone is going to be stupid enough not to read the auction page properly, then its their own fault. Half the stuff on ebay is dodgy! If i knew i could make money by selling a picture or box i would, bollocks to them!
