@amnesia - Better have that checked by a 'specialist' matey. There's a 'real' story here in Manila about a year ago. There's this 50-ish man who had his aching tooth removed, since it was done in the province (countryside) and lacks special equipment during the very simple operation (if we can call it that), HIS gums started to SWELL after a couple of weeks, the swelling goes into months . . . until the man notices that the LUMP has ballooned so BIG that it has already reaches his CHEST! He then decided to have it operated in the city, and was sponsored by a local TV network station, since he is a POOR man. After the successful operation, the LUMP was weighed at around 10 kilos and has a diameter of about 10 inches ! Good Luck ! Take antibiotics if needed . . .

about antibiotics, one of the first lessons we learnt in oral surgery is that you should AVOID, not USE antibiotics whenever you can
