Just becuase the phone is unlocked doent mean that it can be updated. O2 phones are normally unlocked but a lot of the handsets can not be updates.

i can just use davinci to flash my firmware right? (using DCU-60 cable)

If your phone is brown you can't update your phone using the dcu-60 cable, you'll need to get the cruiser/fighter cable to change the phone from red to brown then you can update the firmware using davinci.

You could request a BROWN version

or enquire on customize language options to include

Chinese characters

When requesting give as much info about your phone as posible and what you want the phone to be:

Your Phone

Firmware: R1L002
Colour: BROWN
CDA ~ APAC_1 CDA102338/36 R5A
DCU-60 cable ONLY

You want:

To beable to use SEUS in the future - I'll tell you now ~ You won't

To go to the latest firmware K750 R1AA008
To have Chinese language support (ZS ZC I don't know!!!)

so put it all in writing and give it a go

or you could do what i did and forget all this davinci stuff, it goes right for some and others (me) it doesn't lol. i paid a guy to fix mines on ebay. click here if you wanna know more about the ebay guy.

personally i wasted about £30 quid on credits tryong to get it to turn on, was such a relief when i got it back working - then again some people have had excellent results.
