I can't wait for the V3i to come out (i've persuaded my sister to buy one instead of getting the Motorola Pebl she had her heart set on originally!!!).

But i hated the V3 before, because it cost a bomb and didn't have any worthy features that justified it's price. It was just looks. But i suppose now that the V3 price tag has decreased dramtically i'm liking it more.

But now with the V3i (the new V3) it's real good. I saw the V3i dummy in a phone store and i kept saying to my friend 'how come this V3 looks better than that now boring black and silver V3?'- it was because i was holding a V3i which had a swirlish metalic blue housing (it looked flash!). Best of all it's the exact same size as the V3, but with the megapixel camera and expandable memory slot.

What I really wanted with THESE Moto fone models (have/had: V60i/V3/A780) is that the FONE BEEPS intermittently when there's a PENDING SMS/CALLS (made) ! Unlike with other brands you are obliged to see the fone's LCD to see if there's one (or more) that went in . . .

But as bad as the original V3 was in features, it sure was popular. And it still has remained popular for over a year! I don't like personally though. In Australia it's still $400-500 outright, so it isn't overly affordable yet. Great screen wrecked by a horrible UI and 5,6,7 MB of memory? But fact of the matter is, if it still works, keep on going.
