problem solved: Had to run the applicatin in windows 2000 compatibility mode to gt it to work!

There is nothing new for the p900. Remember to backup as it wipes out all your settings!

I just updated my phone for the heck of trying
but before i did it i made sure i backed up my phone memory just in case.

to tell i didn't see any major changes with my phone afterwards
SEUS should inform us what are the updates are for and what
it can do.

And thank God! i did backed it up it really wipe out all of my data
for my own opinion it was such a waste of time and energy
imagine i have to restore all my data again

it was so frustrating

If I make this update and I have taken a backup of the phone, will I then be able to restore the backup without going back to the older phone-, organiser- and CDA version?

By the way... what does CDA mean...

Hmm I cant update my P900... I'm using the new Update service, but first of all the update service says I have to take out my sim-card - but then I can't turn on my phone so it can be found via the dss-25.

Then I found another old sim (just in case) and got the phone started up but the update service says (after displaying the mobilephone put in the docstation) that there isn't any syncstation connected... What to do!!!?? I can see that the little phoneicon is there so the phone is definately connected with the station and this to the computer... (I have tried restarting my pc)

Have you read the other threads regarding the update service? (hint: search)

Uncheck all connections in phone monitor, do as you are told when updating: turn the phone off, remove battery and SIM and replace battery and place the phone turned off in the cradle. It worked for me...

I have also tried to new Update Service. No problem at all, but the question is how do I know there is a new firmware out? When I did the update, I was not told that I already had the latest update, which I do.
Is there a way to find out what the latest update version is?

Hmm sorry for not searching... Since this was the original post about the new software update for P900 I didn't know I had to search about this problem...

It worked but I decided not to update anyway since it said that the selected CDA was the same as the one I had... (It is the CDA update number that comes up it intends to install right...?¿? )
Weird that the software cannot see that I already have the software it's going to install...

Is there by any chance a place were you can find out what the newest software is for your P900 for all countries? The versions are not the same I know...
