Anyone with Hong Kong K750??? Please?

Funny... i thought you posted this? so meaning your phone reads chinese... errr ring a bell???

Since your rarin to flash it out.. go ahead... it will really benefit you with the multi-tap search... coz if you really try it using HK or some APAC FW itll really be hard to choose specifically whats with multi-tap and wots without.

just a share of thought mah friend

hey, rockygalli, I didn't say I don't have Chinese, I said I don't use it And yes, I will flash, since the problem is not only multicharacter search, but also the annoying camera shutter sound that can't be removed even in silent mode!

Hey dude, I have the UK version of the K750 and W800 (and also a Nokia N70 - I work for The Carphone Warehouse, thats why I can afford it with my employee benefits!! woo!)

Anyway, I have the latest R1AA008 firmware on both my SE phones, and both can do multicharacter search, and this has been a standard feature in all the UK firmwares, I had it on my phone when I first bought it as well, and it was running R1L002 back then.

My point is, that if all else fails, just flash with the UK (EU 2) version using Da Vinci. Im not sure about the intricacies of the firmwares having regional differences, and personally, if that is true, i think its crap.

Hope this helps!
