Well, the RAZR series is quite good, for a basic phone i think. If someone doesn't do much more then just call, send a few texts/mms's, its the ideal phone. And when they graduate to more advanced stuff like wap/gprs etc, it accomodates them till they find something better.
Just my $0.02 worth.

I do agree especially as the spec is not that great compared to todays phones, but perhaps its because they are bringing out the new colours at affordable prices for what was once considered a luxury phone that people are keen to get it
I really can't fault their business sense and anyway, what else do they really have that is desirable at this time except the V3i and V3x, both V3 derivatives?

and what does actually "v" means? on some way, it fits the fone, "v" reflects for me something sharp, just like the name, razr.

I feel sorry for Moto.
If you analyse their work, you know that they are on the edge of going down the drain.
No phone company has ever did what Moto is doing, releasing a successful prodcut for a year and maybe more, but with different colors. Which shows they are very desperat.

Not really they have taken an exemplory design and managed to saturated all market potential from the handset, and then come out with a near identical handset int he v3i, much like the 6230>6230i situation with Nokia.

They are winning market consumption and they're making money from it. Who cares how they do it, as long as it isn't dishonest.
