well boba, you beat me to my favourite character's nick, so I've had to resort to another favourite, Wedge Antilles.
I also like the whole anakin/darth vader thing, and destroyer droids are pretty cool!
My favourite Star Wars vehicle of all time - the X-Wing.
For shear unadulterated spunk, both Padme and Leia are ace.
My network machines are named after star wars - I have a Hoth (main server), Tatooine, Slave1, X-wing and R2D2 (my personal laptop). The network domain is "rogues". My phone's bluetooth name is "pitdroid".

Debu, yes I was 11 when the first movie came out and I was hooked from the opening scene. I'd read most of the books that were sequel to ROTJ, but always wondered about the hinted at previous stories, so when the prequel was announced, I was very excited.
It didn't let me down either. The Phantom Menace was excellent, and in the true tradition of the Star Wars stories (group of friends fighting insurmountable odds to win)
So yes I do like the original series, but not exclusively, as I think the new series are just as good. The final movie is stunning (ep III) and I wasn't disappointed one bit.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but the TV series will be featuring Kyle Katarn (from the new Jedi order Series) I belive, and won't be directed by lucas himself, but it will be produced by Lucas, and will have sfx from ILM, I remember reading about that on theforce.net, but the SW insider doesn't have any info on it as yet. Should be cool.

Watch out for this page to be updated on details of the series, it says 2006 is the year.
This page is for the clone wars series (2003), the animated series which are between ep2 and 3.
