- Remove id tags
- Reencode the source file
- Change name
- Change folder
- Try mp3 encode with another software (no disc2phone)

First of all, thanks for the reply. I tried everything you said. I ripped the tags from a song I was going to use to test, then I changed the name, the folder, the file was already an mp3 and I know my phone plays them. I also added the song without Disc2Phone.
Still no luck

I have EXACTLY the same problem.
It really spoils my enjoyment of my W800i
I hope someone finds us a solution.

Another issue I have had is that certain songs have the first 15 seconds or so of the song missed off when I play them back on the phone (again they are all off the same album, but it happens with several completely unrelated albums).
Check the file size of those songs. If they are smaller than they should be, it could only mean that your encoder/importer is not properly importing the songs. It would start importing (encounter a problem), then stop.

As someone who experiences this problem, I can confirm there's nothing wrong with the source material; I can transfer to my K750i without problem. There appeas to be an issue with the W800i firmware.

absinthebri,
Did I say anything about the source? I said there could be a problem with the importing.
I have both the K750i and W800i. I don't have any of the problems you describe.

The file size of the songs are perfectly normal. I have used different software as well as copying and pasting the songs, and it makes no squat difference at all.
It could be a problem with the firmware, as they used to work perfectly. Although I cannot remember if they stopped working when I updated to R1NA005.
