as its dial up it can only be 9600 or 14400 baud, but would most likely be 9600 as very few operators upgraded their CSD to 14400

P910i or P900 handset used by you does not support certain basic AT Commands that are required for it to be used as a GSM Modem. This has been confirmed to us by Sony Ericsson.
Therefore we are sorry to say that P910i cannot work as GSM Modem
If you wish to use Sony Ericsson handsets then you can try K500, K700, K750 etc.

Just for the record, Orange (in the UK at least) still provide a HSCSD service at 28800kbps.
I wasn't clear whether the OP wanted to connect to the Internet or make a direct connection to his office system. If the former than he could always make a dial-up GPRS connection (which is what I use). This will of course be even faster than HSCSD.
