Glad some white 'Knight' has ridden to your rescue!

That's the latest firmware version you have on that phone, so it could well be a firmware issue or a botched unlocking as Knight has said.

Best thing I could suggest is to send the phone off to one of these mobile repair places, or to Knight if you feel you can trust him (mean no offence there Knighty!), and in the meantime get yourself a cheap phone like a 3310 or something just to tide you over whilst your phone's away being repaired. Some repair places may give you a 'courtesy' phone, but check this out as some don't.

Knight, Digital Mobile is a Vodafone repair agent isnt it?
They wouldnt surprise me by uploading the Voda Firmware on the phone, to my disgust, would they? Lol.

Sammy_Boy, yeah already got a cheapo phone, which I was using temporarily because my old t630 suddenly stopped working (buttons dont work), so I could use that.

The buttons on your T630 could be fixed by taking the phone apart, and ensuring the keypad PCB is plugged properly into the motherboard. Try taking it out (by lifting the metal bar, pulling the connector out, reinserting it then pushing that metal bar back down securely) and re-inesrting it, buttons may then work.

I've never looked at the insides of a phone before so I wouldnt really know what i'm doing.

Never pulled a phone apart either, a T630 cant be too complicated can it? Worth a go?

It might be worth a go, I think there's a disassembly guide somewhere, not sure where though. All you need is a T6 screwdriver, and perhaps a plastic phone removal tool to separate the facia from the chassis.

Um, yeah, they probably would actually, at least you'd have a working phone though. You could probably request that the generic firmware be flashed onto it, they can do it, it's whether or not they choose to that remains to be seen.

Haha damn.

Well, I have spoken with the person who I bought it off, in the email he said to me that he thinks its most likely due to the converter which he didnt test before he passed the phone onto me. Dunno what he means by that though ... :?

But he wants to have a look at it and says that if what I say is true, he will give me a refund if I want one.
