thanks I've searched ebay of course but I haven't found what I needed.

I actually bought the wireless mic from Maplin, they're bastards for not letting me know in the first place.

Tried B&Q and have found nothing.

I guess I'll check the first link.

i guess that'd be the best bet.

I mean, either a tiny generator or something like a generator that I can plug batteries into.

Or a Dynamo charger with a DC hole to plug directly into the receiver.

something like that indeed. However that's A/C and I doubt that one battery will be sufficient enough to power the receiver.
It'll need to be on for at least 30 mins. Or at least 5-10 mins without interruption.
