@jc - Yup, I guess it will be a place-to-place basis here pal, as it has been tested at my end that MMC Nokia cards are FAR much cheaper than Sony Memory Stick Duos, almost half the price . . . am not sure when compared with the 'minis' - RSMMC.

nokias right from the 3310 to the 9500 can be charged with the same charger. similarly handsfree & batteries can be swapped in a lot of nokia models.
this is something se has adopted with the k750.
se's handsfree don't allow the user to change the fm radio station/mp3track with the button on the handsfree, while with a nokia u can.
nokia's external memory chips r far more cheaper than se's.
a lot of nokia's have express on covers which r easy to remove & clean the dirt on the display even for a relatively new user. with se it's not that easy to take the facia off.
W900i can now allow users to change fm/mp3 track using the handsfree. I wil agree that memory card/stick from SE is higher than MMC but is now cheaper than RSMMC. I've been using several models of SE and I find it sturdier than most fones. I'm not too fond of changing covers but will look more on features. I will admit that I'm a bit old already so those express-on covers for me are more for younger generations. Who would like to have flower designs in your fones while on a business meeting. It may be true that nokia had a better menu before but since the inception of T68 and T610, I enjoyed using SE more. But then again, its more of preference of the user.

lmao, i was waiting for all of u se's knights in shining armours to pounce on me.
@dr.thug, i never wantd to have an argument with u in the 1st place so i give a damn 'bout u wanting/not wanting to have an argument with me.
@jn, i'm glad u like the sig. in my part of the world nokia has the best re-sale value.
@jc, this what u wrote, "At one point Nokia went through a phase where nearly every phone had a different connector on the bottom".
plz elaborate not 4 the sake of argueing, but 'cause i really want u 2 enlighten me. i'm as human as u, mayb i missed out on something. fill me up plz.
i once again say in my part of the world nokia mmc's r cheaper than se's msd/mspd.
@samule, ur bang on right. with the n series nokia has changed the charger connector on their phones but with the supplied detachable connector u can still charge ur phone with the old chargers.
@rene, yes w900 does but u still can't change the radio staion. u can't even save ur fave fm radio stations on the handsfree radio.
but of course se's phones r sturdier, i'm just not happy with what se has been churning out lately, k750/w800/w550/w900. all r not 2 my liking & i have owned & used all except the w550. i have a right to my likes/dislikes don't i? 2005 was a sad se year imo, but i'm sure 2006 is gonna be a great year for se with the 3 smartphones, w810 & especially the k610 which i forsee as a sellout.
'bout the express on covers here is what i wrote "a lot of nokia's have express on covers which r easy to remove & clean the dirt on the display even for a relatively new user. with se it's not that easy to take the facia off".
a lot of se user's complain 'bout the dirt on the display don't they?
se is undoubtedly my fave as much as urs but if there is something that it lacks or needs to implement u just can't ignore it.
here's my belief, "don't shun ur competitor, face him & surpass him".

If I recall correctly the 3510i, 7210 and 6310i (which were all out at the same time) had different base connectors to each other (all used the same charger).
Memory card prices do seem to vary a lot depending on where you are.
I personally dont like the way that SE put the radio into the handsfree on the W900i but did like the idea of the remote.

@jc - Yup, no matter how the base looks (Nokia), it still has the same/standard - chargers! I'm still at awe why Nokia memory cards sell higher than that of Sony's at your end pal

How about telling me which fone brand cost more at your end, Nokia or

Nokia is cheaper at my end . . . (brand new).

@jc, i think ur talking 'bout the pop-port on these devices used to connect the handsfree/pc cable while i was refering only to the charger connector which is the same on all of the 3 handsets mentioned by u.
the w900 handsfree remote even allows u 2 swap between the radio & mp3 application which is a swell thing. this particular feature is not available on any other nokia/se handset to my knowledge. the only down is that u can't save ur fave radio station on the w900's handsfree radio.

I can tell lot of plus points of se. But the point is, those who know se, know those points and those who dont know about se, dont want to listen. So . . . Have one and find it yourself.
