ah, well heres the thing, I have a fair desktop pc that has nothign wrong with it, but I am off to uni this year, and use a mac as a normal pc. which means I have a lack of space for things like pc's as I also have to fit all my stock in one room. It would not be as bad if turbolister was also avalible on mac as if it wasnt I could survive, but i need all my templates etc. the other thing is that as my parents are so eager to f**k off to spain it means they want the house looking as good as possible which means they want my room looking better and want me to have a laptop instead of a pc. Personally id love the idea if they paid for a laptop, but its neva guna happen

i would prefer a laptop for general use but for unlockings and stuff i would rather have a desktop regardless of what my parents think. pcs take up hardly any room really compared to big teles and stuff. go on ebay and get a laptop then. theres always cheap ones on there of a quite decent spec

well I do have one laptop already, but thats my mac, I really do just need a basic laptopwith wi-fi etc, and am tempted to jjust buy a cheap ass dell, the only problem is I like syle etc and them dels aint small or stylish

Get a mid ranger like me Luke. Was just under £550, got before christmas, is an Inspiron 6000, widescreen, 1.7ghz centrino, 60gb hd, 512mb ram, wi-fi, dvd-rw etc. Looks pretty nice for the price too. Silver with white strips?

I cant remember exactly it was just over £500 deffo under £550, there was some special offer on though at the time so dont know how much the same machine will be now?
