It's more likely a cross platform compatibility issue with the game code than a problem with either the w800 or k700.

There are hundreds of possibilities as to why a game will work on one phone and not another, most of those reasons completely unrelated to the power of the processor or amount of memory available. There were games that played on my T610 which never worked on the K700. There were also games that worked on my Moto V525 that never worked on the K700. And vice versa.

I wouldn't waste much time trying to understand it, nor would I be worrying that SE ripped us off. some games work on some phones but not others. That's pretty standard for the j2me platform.

Some 3d games just need specific versions for k700 vs + k750/w800 that´s all...example: bomberman 3d

Speedchaser 3d is the same, but they never made a k750 version

in the minig.co.uk forum you´ll find some cases of k750 versions of games that didn´t work on k700´s

abd right a found out that few apps work on one device but won on another...

just won understand..the manufacturer's criteria...

i trried mobiluck ..it worked on my w800 and did not on k700 so i guess..
the point u make is eactl right..

cheers to sony ..coz the phones are any ways awesome.....
wht abt ...adding symbian from nextt release

it's as arez says. It's better to design a game for a particular handset if you want to ensure it works on that hardware, otherwise it's down to luck if it works or not.

t'would be nice, but with hundreds of handsets out there I wouldn't envy a developers job making their games work on every handset out there!!
