well, avg from grisoft.com seems to be a great antivirus.. and u should clean and fix the registry with something like system mechanic from iolo.com

Do you have quicktime plugins in your browser's plugin directory? If not copy them there and you should be able to watch videos.....

Try Opera for windows, it handles jscripts beautifully. My IE has a lot of problems with jscripts. But opera will give you trouble with ASP 2.0 pages. I've seen opera is unable to cache ASP pages and the html elements in them get cached, this leads to the serverside application sending an error page. Mozilla on the other hand fixes most of this, but it isn't quite upto rendering dhtml tables, and almost definately has trouble with MySQL based PHP code. Nothing is perfect, so on my PC I use all three.

Of course I usually prefer to use my mac for surfing, Safari rocks.

Yeah, but unistalling norton doesn't always solve the problem

If you do uninstall it, run these three progs afterwards to make sure that it's all gone and it might just work!
