When re-flashing it did you tick the "Finalization" check box?
I might be wrong, but i think that message appears when you flash it without ticking the box...
But i don't have much experience with DaVinci, just wait for another opinion.

btw, Finalization is what costs you one credit.
Flashing it won't cost you nothing, but without finalization the phone won't work.

@mkd

As the former poster states, just tick the finalization box and press "flash" button (no need to reflash with firmware files ticked again though). You should still have your old credit... no need to buy yet another one

note: you actually only need to type in the CDA######/# or CDA######/## number in the CDA box in DVT; no need for the EU1/EU2/etc. When you check it with >*<<*<* afterwards, the remaining details will be filled in

Yeah, I did the finalization now, and everything seemed to be OK, but still I get the message:

"Configuration Error, please contact your operator service.."

The first time I did it without ticking Finalization box, and after that, I realised I ought do it so I ticked and unticked FW files, and it did the Finalization. And I have to say that phone was changed to CDA102430/12 EUROPE_4 and Walkman mode works perfectly with videos and music. It's just when I start the phone. Even I get text messages and phone is using GPRS and GSM coverages, it just the message is sticky and there's no buttons or way to remove it

The thing is, when I ticked Finalization, it did it, but I losed my credit. Now I'm just thinking of going to an official SAT here in Finland and restore it with official software, even though I have to pay again.

Thank you all anyway, it seems I did something wrong, but I don't understand what, because I typed the correct CDA (which actually was changed), and FS and MAIN files were correct R1BC002 eu4 and main.

Thanks again and I'll see what I do this afternoon

Why don't you try an internal format (Master reset)?
Just backup anything you might need later.

mkd: most likely a corrupt flash file; ive had that problem earlier today with my w550; use another one, i suggest using W800_R1AA008_MAIN_APAC1 and W800_R1AA008_FS_APAC1 i've used these on a friend's W800 and they both worked fine. Not the latest fw, but if you dont want to risk it anymore.. use CDA203535/15 as the CDA string if you want, that's the generic hong kong. if you still have that phone's original CDA you can use that as well

Yeah, Master Reset, but how if can't get into the phone..

Is there any code I can type or some trick with joystick, because phone won't let me use any of the functions after I introduce the pin code.

Can I use the Firmware Menu to do that?

what pin code are you talking about? for the sim? try putting a different SIM- my K600 had this problem where the phone would stall (no config error msg though) when powered up; i used a different SIM and apparently it was the problem

i havent heard of a master reset option via the service menu

Nothing to do, I tried four different SIM-cards, two from Finland, one from Sweden and another one from Spain, and same error..

Tomorrow I'll see in the SE service shop what they do..

Thank you all for dedicate your time
