Just took my wsod phone into the vodaphone shop and got it swapped out no questions asked.
Now just got to see how well this new one lasts!!!

i managed to borrow a phone from a friend at work (w810i) connecte his phone to my laptop and copied all the files from his phone to my hdd. then plugged my phone in and deleted all files fro E:/ (phone) and replaced them with the ones from my mates phone and the phone spang back to life! although with all his settings!
for future reference... if i want to install a game to the w810i phone... where do i put it on the cartd or phone? which directory?!?

I'm having the same problem as novice and i have allready downloaded the program from the davinciteam. Now the thing I would like som help with is what should i do to flash my phone (w810i). Bassicly i need some guidelines.

Well its more like I tried to test my cable through davinci didn't even try to flash it. My phone wasnt recognized tried it five times after the fifth time it didnt boot anymore. I discovered i was using the wrong client, but i think that should not ruine my phone by just testing the cable. It's really weird.
But ur sure its not only the main and fs file, the erom file doesnt need to be flashed.
