the software is installed and everytime i run it they tell me no deskstand is connected.... but it is.... ive put it in every usb on my xps400

You need to uncheck the "USB" in the Phone Connection Link. (Right-click the black jagged arrow in the taskbar and choose Properties.) to free it up for the SEUS.
I also found I had to take the mains lead off the docking station, else the phone kept coming back on and SEUS would fail.

I have tried it as well. SEUS asks you to turn your phone off, remove the sim, and plug it into your sync station. I do have USB unchecked mind you. Everytime I try to connect the phone, the green sony ericsson light goes on for a milli second and then the orange one goes on and stays on without SEUS detecting it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
