Yup, I agree with @S4k1s and @rockygali, the only risk I can think of is not being able to hear the traffic, etc around you. I'm using Koss The Plugs, really good noise isolation, I've never set the volume on my mp3 player so low before. sound quality is execellent because you don't lose much to the ambient noise, nor does the latter drown out the former. So if you're not worried about traffic and all, in-ear earphones are the way to go.

I have a K750i and I have been using it with the HPM-70; the sound quality has increased grately compared with the ones enclosed when I bought mine; before having the new ones I had to raise the volume about 80% to 90% but not anymore. IMHO they are a very good way of entertaining yourself when you have to spend more than 30 mins in a bus while going to work if you dont tolerate the music or the conversations that can be heard in a bus.
My advise is just be cautious with the volume level when you're enjoying your music
Bye

No prob, glad to be of help. Just remember if you're using noise-cancelling earphones, don't turn up the volume too high and always be aware of your surroundings.

I have IEE and I think the only downside is that I cant let my friends listen to music through them because I think thats dirty.

Dont you guys agree with me?

Does any one know if the wire in the earphone can serve as an antenna --> transfer microwave to the ear (even in tiny amounts?)
***It serves as an antena for the FM radio of the phone***

OR is there a filter to block this from happening?!?!

I think all earphone wires are used as antenas for the radio.

Hi

People have mentioned traffic as a danger, and it is true that you need to be careful. The other potential danger is pulling IEE plugs out of your ears too quickly. Because they fit so closely, they can create a vacuum if they are pulled out fast, and this can damage the eardrum. Always remove them slowly and carefully and you will be fine.

I'm not sure about health dangers. But what I've noticed is that if you plug the ear bug firmly into the ear. it block the sound/noice around. So u can't hear anything else. which maybe dangerous when walking the streets.

Generally u won't hear even if some try to warm you or shouts at u.
