I would try and get in touch with the organisers, snow patrol, and anyone else you can think of. As someone said earlier, you have nothing to lose, but everything to gain. You could even try the local papers, and see if you get any joy there.
I do feel for you, I would be pissed to if I had missed it, especially as the girl is now your ex.

Here's the addy for snow patrol

and now my email that was just sent:

To Snow Patrol/Band management

I am Luke Bonathan, last night I went to your cardiff gig, and would really like to say it was excellent, in truth the first two support bands were awsome, but I did not see snow patrol perform last night. This is because during the second support act my friend who attended with me passed out in the process of buying drinks, and injured herself in the fall, resulting in us leaving before snow patrol came on and spending out time in the emergency room till the early hours of the morning.

This left my friend very upset, and I myself am really quite upset as we had been waiting to see snow patrol for about 2 years, but this was the first time we were both available. I waited for about 2 hours online just to buy these tickets as I missed out on tickets to the first london gig this year by a number of seconds even though I had them in my basket etc online, and couldn't get tickets in 2004/5. To make it worse for my friend I bought the tickets as a Valentine present ( at the time we were seeing each-other for over 2 years, and snow patrol were the one band we both would have loved to see). I do realize that its quite rare for this kind of thing to happen, but when we were there a girl passed out in-front of us (in the crowd) but before we left I found out she was ok.

I do want to add that my friend (kirsty) is ok, she had some stitches, and was allowed out of hospital after the stitches were done as she didn't have concussion etc, we did our best to reenact the the gig by playing snow patrol all the way home, but it wasn't really the same.

I'm not quite sure what I plan on achieving by this email, I just feel really bad about last night due to what happened to my friend as I do feel partly responsible for it. I would like some kind of response, but I would also like some way of contacting the people who operated the building that night, and who operate it for future gigs as I have a few recommendations (such as letting in some air every once and a while and not taking bottled water off the crowds when we walk in).

Kind Regards

Luke Bonathan

Very well put. Not asking for anything from them, apart from some way of contacting the operators. I think you may have some tickets on the way to you soon.

Know where you comin from mate. Went to go see Kanye West in B'ham a while back. Couple of people almost passed out behind us..luckily we were near the front so had more fresh air than others i suppose. Couple of my mates felt..woozy(?) and went out to get some air. Stupid really, I mean they do have vents everywhere and some were actually putting in warm air! Mind you they had other problems besides that tho..like one of the stewards getting shot...so doubt they gave a sh*t bout people passing out lol. Anyway mate im sure they'll sort you out with some tickets or something..that is if they actually read your email..some just blow em off. Hope eveything works out tho, good luck with it

Pretty happy right now, but a lil dampered, but this time there is no turning back as il be damed if Im driving all that way for no reason lol
