Nice, lee, also the shell would provide protection from the blast of a grenade thrown by a snake!

Maybe, but the turtle would have no chance against a grass snake with a flame thrower. It's speed and agility coupled with a slender body would make it very hard to hit, and the turtle would quickly roast in it's shell under the immense heat.
