Since the external display is monochrome does that mean that it doesn't go to a "screensaver" mode?

My question is if the external display goes into a "screensaver mode" like with color screens. If so then wouldn't the indicators disappear when it goes into screensaver mode (if it does)?

after a time that you close the flip, the external display turn off, and goes to the sleep mode, the display still shows the hour and the sms, or missing calls that you receive... just like the display of k750i and similars, but smaller...

sorry about my english...

Yep, that's what happens. The display does screensave after a few seconds but you can show the display again by pressing the volume up button. All indicators (BT, headphones, SMS, missed calls, etc) are shown on the display. The display lights up when an event occurs (text arrives, call occurs, etc) but will screensave again afterwards. ianagui, nothing wrong with your English!

BTW, the Z530i is a great little flip phone that blew the Moto V3 out of the water during the sunny weather we had in the UK lately. They couldn't read their external displays whilst the Z530i external display was readable... (!)

@ianagui
Why would you want to change a W300 to a Z530?

shaliron...

what i mean is changing z530 to a w300...
some people that did this says that the camera is much better after the flashing and z530 pictures quality is so bad =/
and probably too some mp3 player improvement, but that im not sure..
