all you can really do is have steady hand, clean camera(no dust on lens), keep lens scratch free, and i find having full battery helps, dunno if its just me...

@jairo, it depends. My camera lens is full of dust, and of course its gonna show up on the picture, and ever since i havent used it much, my camera quality is gradually getting worse...

why should the quality get worse if you don't use it ??
it ain't made of metal to rust ... it's digital ... i don't thing age has anything to do with it(via age i mean under 1-2 years)

well....when you leave something for a long time without moving it about, dust will gather onto it, especially with the v600i! the black plastic attracts dust like hell!
