Wow that really is the lions share then, i think all the networks have masses of bandwith available as Video calling really doesn't seem to of taken off and with all that 3G bandwith it does look like T-Mobile have caught all the other networks napping as i couldn't find a single data package and voice plan that can get anywhere close to their offers and they must be generating huge cashflows from what was idle capacity. We win they win and everyones happy, plus thier customer services calls are answered pretty quickly with out endless selections to eventually wait to speak to a real person i must say i am pretty impressed and to be honest that goes for the N70 to the last Nokia i had was a 6100 when it first came out. Syncing this phone with Outlook is so fast and easy compared to SE i can't believe just how lacking the SE version data suite is and i never thought i would say that. I still want a M600i but not untill the phone has become more stable 6months to a year from now. Whats the point of a great looking phone and functionality if the thing doesn't work properly. IMO SE really need to sort their phones out pre release not post.

Couldn't agree more. T-Mobile really have pulled there fingers out and jumped leaps and bounds-lets hope they increase there device portfolio to match there packages and keep pushin the boundries as this will only enrape other operators to follow suit and reduce data costs! I work for T-Mobile (NL),

And in the past we had "Pocket internet total" and "Web'n walk". Which was in the old days (till 2 weeks ago ) the same... you paid 9,50e to have a flatfee internet connection no mather what kind: GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA or WiFi.

Than in time-chronological order they cut back the bandwith by providing a service of viewing pictures in "minor mode". Than recently they also cut back the speeds of UMTS and HSDPA. And the most recent one is that "PIT" is "web'n walk" now. They removed the free Hotspot part in it. Old users who have "PIT" from the beginning they still can use it for free.

They are only a little bit slow to get phones ready for it. Still N91 and N80 are not in the list. Yet the W810 which is being promoted here with "Web 'n walk" and Robbie Williams... it's complete insane because in the old days you supposed to have a smartphone but now they are just gonna pick phones they like.... bad move of marketing!

The not releasing of the N80/91 where commercial decisions based around not a huge demand issue which is understandable! However, i disagree with your comments on marketin and the inclusive device range-why not give web n walk on all handsets? It's like saying don't sell phones that have bluetomui because not EVERYONE uses it! The european market tends to follow that of the more developed Asian nations like Japan and Korea where web access is now an intergril part of society! As an employee, i think it strange you don't get on board considering there's nothin on the market to rival it! This message was posted from a Nokia

I agree with you when you say they should do all phones but they don't just all smartphones and the W810... if they kept it on only smartphones is is easy to explain. Now people start to shout why my W900 isn't supported... actually when you could get a IMEI of a smartphone and than use a different phone you're stillen using web'n walk. No problem with it, we know people are doing it but it's useless having flatfee on a screen from 108x108 (6230).

Well N80 and N91 will be in the "allow list" very soon, don't know why it takes so long. [/edit]

Yeah I know we are the only one who have it, and I'm proud of it. In Germany (correct me if i'm wrong), we compete with the national telecomprovider (Deutsche Telekom, where T-Mobile is a part from) by providing flatfee broadband internet (HSDPA) and flatfee calling. I don't know prices or everything, but I think that will be the next step in contracts next to the Flex, Relax and Web 'n Walk.

I was told the normal web'n'walk 'add on' for mobile phones is only GPRS unfortunately and you cant access 3g for that cheap price. not sure how true that was.

I returned my 3g data card but they told me I could keep the 1 year free t-mobile hotspot wifi access... so I am!

I dont think thats entirely true as my brother has the universal on t-mobile and when i accessed the web on his universal there was a icon that said U (UMTS) instead of G (GPRS) and the browsing experience was pretty fast compare to my k-jam.

3G is most definitely allowed as part of the Web n Walk service. When you compare the price of data bundles on networks for high WAP users, you'll probably find the max bundle for £7.50 is about 4mb compared with the Web n Walk 2gb fair use policy! This message was posted from a Nokia

then it seems I was misinformed by 2 different t-mobile people!

its almost worth getting the cheapest t-mobile contract in order to add that on and have virtually unlimited high speed data!

I spoke to vodafone about this t-mobile offer and STILL the best they can do to get you anwhere near unlimited is their 3g data card for a little over £52 /month

In fairness mate, i the donkeys you spoke to where wrong and shouldn't be answerin calls! I recently checked out other companies pc card deals and Three came the closest, but they where still mites off! Would cancel my broadband at home if it weren't for the fact i use xbox live! I'm just about to buy a sim free Sony Ericsson M600i. Does anyone know if I can configure this to work with Web n walk? I'm getting this sim free for 2 reasons 1) I don't want any of the nasty network providers software messing it up and 2) t-mobile don't have the M600i available yet.

Also, am I correct in assuming that the other networks in the UK are still light years behind the Web n walk package? When I looked into 3G phones last year I could not believe that data packages were still the same as for the old GPRS - surely with 3G people are going to get through a lot more data. Packages like 4MB a month are a bit pathetic, right?
