What exactly is missing for the OK to come back...?

As I see it the P900 can easily follow the new phones - except for the camera though...
And therefore I believe the OK is deffinately there

You can actually pick up 2nd hand P910s relatively cheaper (c. £100) I went from a P900 - P910 and it was definitely worth the difference for 3 main reasons for me. More memory which means Opera etc can run fine without problems, 2GB duo pro which means I could store films, mp3, TomTom5 mobile etc with no problems, and the updated bluetooth which worked so much better.
They are other benefits but these were the killer for me.

After id had my p900 for a few months i gave it a new breath of life with a new font. The standard font which comes with the p900 i think is very harsh but i think a new font adds so much. Anyone else using custom fonts and if so, could you ever go back?

I've tried a few fonts in my P910i but I always return to the standard font. There always seems to be one to two apps where the alternate font is either too big or too small to read - the standard one always fit.
Which one are you using?
Also I agree with upgrading to a P910 - I also had a P900, tried it with the P905 flash to use larger MS, but always had problems because of the low amount of free RAM.
Now with the P910i I never run out of RAM, and I can store ALL my apps on the C: drive, leaving my 2GB MS free for TomTom and all my audio and videofiles.
I just wish it had a better camera
I also like the P990, but I don't think it's THAT much better than my trusty P910i, besides I would have to re-purchase all my software if I changed to the P990

The line as a whole is feeling it's age unfortunatly. I was considering getting another after my P9 melted, but decided that it might just be easier to wait for the the P990.

Wow, this seems to be the P900/P910 lovers, die hard SE fan thread. What a nice change to the: "I cant wait for the P990 looking for another fon" whiner threads.
I do still love my P900. even after 26mo. Sure I am looking forward to the next Pseries fon. But IMHO the P900 is the best looking Pseries fon so far and I enjoy using it.
Yes, I need more memory and the wifi would be cool. I won't jump on the P990 right away, I have grown on my P900. It is showing it's age, but it is still king of the hill.

Peter321: the font i use is called calibri. its the new arial style font from microsoft and is from microsoft office 2007. it works fine with every application i have on my phone and is roughly the same size as the standard font except MUCH nicer. Yep, its nice to have thread which people can discuss the p900 and not just "i cant wait until the p990!" over and over again.

I am using Sony 128mb ms duo, dark blue colour. Never had any trouble with it. I am also using the 32mb ms duo. Try formatting it with your pc first then stick it in the fon. The fon does not like folder structures tha were created by other devices, like digicams.
