It sort of goes into like standby mode and you can only transfer things onto the memory..... You cant use th phone untill you disconnect the usb cable and then it starts the phone up again.

Cheers for that - all working via File Manager now.
Just expected to be able to see under 'My Computer' while in File Transfer mode?
Still at least my photos and music can be transferred around now!!
