yeah, the phone is almost perfect, only the lack of lens cover keeping it form it. a simple solution like w800's one and everything would've been fine.

Not to put a downer on the results, cos I agree that the w810i is the best phone around at the moment but it says '
readers voted'. Does this mean that the majority of these voters have not actually used the devices themselves and are just voting on what other reviews have said or on 'heresay', or have they actually physically and extensively used them? If the
readers haven't used them then the award seems somewhat meaningless.

personally this i s a huge bonus in my eyes! because my previous pphone w800i had a lens cover whcih broke a number of times and also gkept opening in my pocket lol...... so happy days!

Good for Sony Ericsson, its not without its flaws though, I bought one and its a nice phone. No phones without its niggles, but overall one of the best phones i have owned. Beats my old 6230i hands down. the music quality is outstanding

The lack of lens cover partially moved me to sell it. after getting some dust on the lens layer, I took a cloth and cleaned it, after that small streaks appeared. if you take better care than I did, you should be fine with it. It's an amazing phone. But the most important reason why I sold it, was to get the k790. I can't afford cellphones so often, so I have to sell the ones I have to buy new ones. peace...
